The reel is able to hold up to 20% more line than standard large arbor reels due to the B2 backing channel. The channel acts as a backing reserve, so you'll have a little extra peace of mind when that fish of a lifetime makes a run downriver. The reel can be easily converted to either left- or right-handed retrieve. Spools switch out easily when the surface action quits and its time to huck streamers. Weighing just 6.5 ounces, the Ambush balances well with modern, lightweight rods and comes with a reel case.
