If your little one has been longingly watching you take your fat bike out for a spin on the snowy trails and asking to come along, the bald tires on the bike they tore around the driveway on all summer are probably not going to be up to the job. That's why Charge Bikes built the Cooker 20in Kids' Fat Bike. Sized just right for growing riders, the Cooker won't shy away from a day of blasting through sand, snow, mud, rock, and maybe the occasional homemade jump or two, and it's made to grow with little rippers who are continuously honing their skills and testing new limits.
Crafted with durable steel, the Cooker's frame expects to hit a few obstacles and weather its fair share of spills, and when paired with an equally solid steel fork and a relatively wide bar, it results in a bike that is undeniably stable while remaining easy for young riders to control. Little rippers tackling new hills and terrain further afield will benefit from the added confidence that a seven-speed Shimano rear derailleur provides, and the grip shifting gives them their first taste of managing gear ratios.
The Cooker's hallmark feature is, of course, its unmissable 20 x 4in tires, which are prepared to barrel through just about anything your little one steers them into. Mechanical disc brakes equipped with burly 160mm rotors mean that stopping power in wet, slick trail conditions won't be an issue, and they offer more ruggedness and durability than the caliper brakes included on most youth bikes.
