Sturdy and Comfy
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
For me, almost every pair of sandals require a wear in period where I can be guaranteed blisters (and usually the start of every summer too)....EXCEPT THESE. I've had other Chacos before with a hard side piece near the ankle that would give me problems. These are soft though. I wore them in Europe walking around for 10+ miles daily and had no problems. And they're great for cragging as well. (I like the no toe option too just in case I decide to wear socks with them...yeah, I'm nerdy like that.)
Perfect goes with everything
I'm confused. I understand that the tread is different on the Unaweep and Yampa models. Is that the only difference about this model? Is it lighter? More geared for hiking? What does "Z/Volv" mean?
Does anyone have an answer for Heidi Jane? I'm curious too.
