Big shoe fulfilled big expectations!!!

I was looking for a pair of sandals for a trip to Cancun that would allow me to walk long distances in all types of terrain... rocks, water, sand, etc. I have a really difficult time finding a good fit, as i have extremely wide, flat feet. I've always struggled with not being able to wear the cute ladies sandals because they don't fit, therefore, I'm always stuck wearing mens flip flops, which kill my back. I have even tried Birks and my feet are just too wide for them. I am SOOOOO happy about my Chaco's!!!! I had to get a mens 11W, and I honestly wasn't sure they would work for me because they hurt so bad when i first got them. I wore them every day for a week before my trip, and now I can't imagine what it would've been like without them!!!! I will absolutely 100% be buying Chaco's every year as my go to summer footwear and tossing my flip flops to the sidešŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

Happy Bigfoot!!!!

Small narrower straps = more blisters

These straps are thinner and narrower than they used to make them. I've now figured out why it bothered me when I opened the package. (besides the cheaper appearance) The thinner straps don't distribute the same desired strap pressure well on your feet, so your skin bulges more around the strap, and in the criss-cross areas the raised skin is super prone to irritation. After adjusting several walks, and after healing, I can't seem to wear these versus my originals without getting four matching blisters on the big and little toes of my feet.

Falling In Love

After my 32-year-old TEVA sandals delaminated during a rafting trip in Glacier National Park, I noticed these Chaco Z2 sandals at The Camp Store and liked the fit and construction. Happy with the product so far, having tried them in the water and hiking. I think I'm in love with the soft foot bed and sure grip on everything from wet rocks to gravel. Will they last 30 years?

Disappointed

Sand/dirt/debris got in the strap holes making adjustments of the straps very difficult. When pulling the strap, the sole ripped, making the shoe basically unusable. This happened the first weekend wearing them. We are waiting to hear back from the company on any refund/replacement pair. Just disappointing after spending so much.

Best sandals EVER!

I have been wearing these for YEARS. This is only my 3rd pair because they wear like iron! The comfort of these sandals is superior and there is absolutely no break in period. My Chacos have racked up miles hiking, walking, canoeing, camping and several amusement park visits.

The best!

My old Chacos got worn out after many years of use. I decided to try another brand, but ended up returning them and getting another pair of Chacos. They are study and comfortable, especially since many brands don't have wide sizes.

Outstanding quality, but horrible style!!!

The bottom support is wonderful, & they would probably last a lifetime, however this style is complex & uncomfortable. The crisscross straps are complicated/time-consuming to get into place, then they constantly shift & rub against your skin. For my small feet, they felt bulky & awkward to walk in, as well.

Smell worse than a dead animal- had to trash.

These sandals smell so horrible I had to throw them out. I scrubbed them I pulled out the straps and scrubbed them, I soaked them in a bleach solution. After that I still tried to keep them with hopes that Iā€™d find a solution so I put them in the garage, in a 5gallon bucket with a lid, and after a few days it smelled like there was a dead animal in the garage. I donā€™t know why, I honestly donā€™t have stinky feet! I think maybe they changed materials. The last pair I had lasted me 10 years, these are intolerable in less than a year.
