Bottom Line: Climb like a gecko with Chaco's Z/2 Diamond Stealth Sandals.
I worked as an outdoor adventure guide for over 6 years and wore these every single day. I never travel without them. Mine have seen many, many miles on city streets, back country trails and rivers and they're still going strong. You can't beat the security of the many straps or the support of the footbed.
These sandals really do rock, I have been wearing them every day since I got them and I can't take them off. They truly are very comfortable. I have taken them climbing and camping and around my own back yard. they do leave marks on some floors but nothing a little elbow grease can't cure.A+

I am very comfortable in these sandals. I have to wear insoles in regular shoes so I was not sure if these would be good for my feet, they have been great. I have had some trouble getting the strap to not cut off my big toe circulation but I think it requires some adjustment of the straps and finding what is comfortable to wear.
I haven't had these for long, but already feel comfortable wearing for everyday, though I have problems with blisters that come and go out of nowhere. i cannot rate the experience based on regular use, since I have only worn the sandals for about 1 1/2 month. i look forward trying them on for more demanding tasks regarding nature tracks and slip resistence, for which they seem suited well. snug fit. regarding the arch described in detail i miss support on inside of foot, since I tend to walk inwards, and the outward arch is a completely new walking experience to me, that I am nonetheless glad to try. overall I would rate them average/ normal- good/ lasting for everyday wear. I really appreciate the simple, functional design, quality materials, and the fact of them being cut for nature and outdoors, without loosing out on performance or safety.
Have never tried on a pair of Chaco sandals, and often my shoe size runs between 9 and 10. I am, therefore, thinking of ordering a 9.5, but was wondering if you would suggest heading to a store to try a pair on first, or if you knew whether people commented that they generally run big or small? Thanks in advance!
I have only worn these sandals a few times and already I am turning my back on my old stand-bys. My only issue is that my feet are narrow and I have already pulled the straps as tight as they will go. I hear that Chaco will do adjustments, but I'm not sure if this is totally necessary.
This is my second pair of these sandals, so I knew exactly what I was getting. I simply love them. I live in them from April (March if I can get away with it) through October. I stretch things and sometimes wear them to work (when I think it won't matter). I've walked vast distances in them comfortably, never had a rub I couldn't adjust for easily and have never, ever, gotten a blister. It will sadden me to box them for the winter soon. My first pair is on it's 3rd set of soles. The second pair I just received does leave marks on linoleum (it's the particular sole I selected that's the problem) which the maker warns us about. Nothing is absolutely, totally perfect, but these come close.
