The Chaco Women's Z/1 Diamond Stealth Sandals offer optimal grip on wet rocks or rugged trails. Chaco made this Z/1 Sandal with their Stealth Amphibia outsole complete with grippy rubber so you can scramble and edge your sandals like approach shoes. The sole's polyurethane design uses air bubbles to reduce weight of the sandal while creating a softer sole for cushy hiking all the way to the cliff. The open toe strap design makes these sandals awesome to wear with booties for canyoneering or with socks for cooler nights camping.

Bottom Line: The Chaco Women's Diamond Stealth outsoles grip so well you might just send your proj in them.

Do the womens sizes fit the same... i.e. a 9.5 fits as a 9.5 or could one get away with one size bigger?

I bet you'd be fine in the 10. I'm between 8.5 and 9 and wear a 9 in Chacos. If my foot were any bigger it'd be tight.

I am looking to buy my first pair of Chaco's. What is the is difference between a Z/1 and a Z/2. Plus if I have narrow feet is that a problem for a good fit?

The beautiful thing about Chacos is they are infinitely adjustable. I have skinny feet too and all 3 pairs of my Chacos fit great. The Z2 has a toe strap, the Z1 does not. A toe strap gives you a little more grip but can be irritating if you have sensitive skin.

I've got these sandals and have never noticed any marking, but must admit I haven't looked too closely. But did wear them for work on a wooden floor once and they never left a mark. The soles are vibram so super tough and all the same properties you'd expect from a quality vibram sole.
