Z/1 Classic Wide Sandal
If you've ever asked someone the details on how they met their spouse, you've most likely embarked upon a lengthy trip down Mushy Memory Lane. This same "an affair of the heart" logic applies to any adventure-loving trailblazer who has been asked to describe the first time they set their eyes on the Chaco Women's Z/1 Classic Sandal. Built to last a lifetime, these sandals are vegan-friendly and fashioned to carry you over rafts and rivers, through trails and sidewalks without falter or fail.
Constructed specifically for women with a wider footbase, the Z/1 Classic Wide offers paramount support and performance with its textured polyurethane footbed that's crafted specifically to prevent your foot from sliding around, especially on those humid summer days. The LuvSeat midsole cushions your every step while the ChacoGrip rubber sole features 3mm lugs that grip aggressively to prevent slipping, especially on wet surfaces.

Chaco first timer
Great shoes once you figure out how to adjust them right. My feet need to adjust to them but so far I really like them

Big Fan!
I’m a big Chaco fan—the only non Chaco shoes I own are tennis shoes. After my pregnancy my feet grew a whole size so I needed a new pair. These fit exactly as they should and are super cute too. Love that they go with so many things.

Colorful Chacos make me happy!
Very excited to finally find a wide width women’s Chaco that is NOT black! Have been wearing Chaco’s for many years and wear them year round. They make my feet happy regardless of color but having bright, colorful sandals on my feet makes me happy.

A loyal customer
I have been wearing this model for at least 20 years. I have a tough foot to fit ... wide and complicated by bunions. I wear these pain free and for hours regardless of my activity ... walking, hiking, around the house.

Love (NEED) the wide - thank you!
These are the only footbed I can wear that does not bother my plantar fasciitis - thank you! I wish that your cute suede Chelsea boots came in a wide also! ;)

Absolute comfort and quality
These shoes are still the excellent footbed, sole, and quality upper that I have been wearing for the last 26 years. Thank you, Chaco, for not cutting corners! I live in my Chacos except for the most challenging hikes and tennis :)
