For post-hike hangouts, lazy days on the river, or casual in-town affairs, the Chaco Women’s Wrapsody Sandal features an adjustable, slide-on design that bridges the gap between sporty and stylish. The BioCentric footbed provides solid arch support, and the EcoTread recycled rubber outsole grips urban sidewalks or riverside slickrock. The comfortable, open-toe strap is fully adjustable for casual cruising.

Bottom Line: The perfect balance of form and function.

Couldn't get the fit right

By:

They have a really weird fit to them. I know that you have to spend some time with the straps to get it on your foot properly, but I couldn't seem to get the side straps adjusted so they didn't rub on my little toe. Ended up returning them, which was a shame because I thought they looked really cool, but I just couldn't get them to fit.

My favorite 'casual' chaco

By:
November 8, 2008

When I first got these shoes, I hated them. I already had Z2's and the flip flops, so I had very high expectations of chacos. The first day I got them I walked a few miles, and they drove me crazy. The straps would not stay put... they kept sliding and tightening. I was tempted to return them, but decided to give them a chance.
It only took a few days before the straps settled down, and after that, they became one of my favorite pairs of shoes, and are definitely my go-to chacos for every day wear. They stay on my feet, offer great support, and look cute for just about any occasion.

Get the 10. Chacos only come in full sizes so you should go for the larger one and ratch down the straps.

Love them!

I bought these after searching for good arch support shoes based on major plantar fasciitis issues (and my podiatrist's list of "good" shoes). I got the red last summer.

Not only do they have a GREAT high arch and feel extremely solid and stable, I have gotten loads of compliments on them - amazing!

It took me a few days to get the straps adjusted as per other reviewers, but once you get them there, you'll never look back. I'd go a little loose at first as your feet get used to them and then you can tighten them up!

I wear them, even in winter, for the support. They are my around the house shoes now!

Cute, but not for me.

Very cute sandals. However, the edges of the straps on my sandals were sharp (think edge of melted webbing sharp) and would periodically slice into my feet if not perfectly flat. If you were a half size, I'd suggest going up to the next whole size - they seem to run a bit small.

like 'em lots

They have all the comfort of Chacos (a little narrow, but not too bad) without having to worry about straps. I can even slip them on without bending down to rearrange them on my feet. And of course, amazing arch support.

not for small feet

By:
November 17, 2008

My sister-in-law raves about chaco sandals all the time. I wear a size 5. These didn't tighten enough to keep my foot in and when they are all the way tightened...the extra amount of nylon strap hangs over about 4-5 inches...so you can walk on it??? I'm jealous of people with "normal"sized feet but if you are going to make a small size shoe/sandal all the straps should work with it.
