The Chaco Men’s Entrada Hiking Shoes feature suede and mesh uppers that let your feet breathe while you work your way through narrow canyons in the San Rafael Swell. With Chaco’s BioCentric footbeds and Poron foam midsoles, the Entrada shoes absorb shock and support your arches, so you can hike longer without fatigue. Chaco made the grippy outsoles from recycled butyl rubber, so Chaco can take some trash away from landfills and you can leave nothing but footprints.

Bottom Line: Breathable hiking shoes for warm days in the backcountry.

What is the foot volume of these shoes. How about chaco shoes (not sandals) in general?

Chaco is generally wide, but all of their sandals and shoes have really good foot hold, even their flip-flop style sandals. I'd say this shoe is probably high b, low c width. Would be a good shoe you wear around town or on those days which you might not know if you'll end up on a trail or not.

Too much arch for me

By:
December 19, 2009

Found that the footbed arch was uncomfortably high for me and had to return them.

all of my four pairs or various Chaco hiking shoe models were a bit uncomfortable but one of the reasons I bought them is because I understood what a biocentric footbed is >>> it will change to fit your foot ... one good hike is about all it takes to mold to your foot ... you just gave away a great shoe.

I purchased Chaco Entrada Hiking shoes in Sept. 2009 and really like them.
They do have a high arch but this really helped because I was suffering with a sore heel. They are not as clunky as other hiking shoes and are very nice looking and a good all around wearing shoe.

I felt the same way about the pair I got. I ended up giving them away.
