Stay fast, stay protected.
We have mixed feelings about the Mixino VD2.0 Helmet, Catlike's foray into the realm of aerodynamic safety. We're sorry to see the hugely effective ventilation system of its Mixino helmets go, but the gains in aerodynamic efficiency made by incorporating a solid shell are undeniable and, in certain, high-speed situations, indispensable. Save the vents for the century with multiple mountain passes, and use the Mixino VD2.0 for rides when every second counts.
Catlike is best known for its high protection standards — this is especially true for a helmet designed for pure, unadulterated speed. The Mixino VD2.0 is accordingly designed to the exact specifications as the original, highly-ventilated model. To begin with, it is formed using In-Mold technology — the inner and outer shell of the helmet are molded to become one piece, not merely glued onto each other. This increases crash resistance and diffusion of energy should a crash occur. The helmet was designed with Low Nape Protection so that your occipitals are protected in the event of an accident.
What sets the Mixino VD2.0 even further apart from its aerodynamic competitors is a combination of an ARC roll Cage and Graphene Nano-fibers. The roll cage is an internal structure made from Aramid fibers. In case these fibers sound vaguely familiar, they have been used in the aerospace industry. They have been used in conjunction with Graphene fibers to keep weight to a minimum while maximizing protection.
Catlike used replaceable Outlast pads on the interior for impressive comfort. These pads use NASA-developed Phase Change Materials (PCM) which actually store and release heat as needed to help regulate body temperature. Holding the Mixino VD2.0 tightly on your noggin is Catlike's eVo retention system. This utilizes horizontal and vertical pads that are adjusted with micro-wheels as well as customizable padding on the side wings of the helmet.

- Q & A
The difference in the helmet pictures. The white has 2 forward vent holes. The black none. If like to know if you have the black with 2 holes and how I can order (tell) the correct one?
