Mixino Movistar Team Helmet

There's a lot to balance in a helmet. Strength, weight, ventilation, comfort, and fit all have to work together, and if even one is off, you might not be too psyched. For those demanding helmet perfection, there's the Catlike Mixino Movistar Team Helmet, which combines a whole host of technologies to deliver every essential helmet benchmark.

Let's start with the obvious: a helmet's primary job is to keep you safe. To that end, Catlike packed the Mixino Movistar full of tech like a woven aramid-fiber cage, polycarbonate shell and polystyrene foam, all of which are fused together using in-mold construction, which diffuses crash energy across the whole helmet, not letting it focus solely at the point of impact. To increase diffusion even further, Catlike developed what it calls a Crash Energy Splitter, which increases the strength of the helmet while "splitting" energy in the same way in-mold construction does. Catlike also included Low Nape Protection by extending the rear of the helmet to cover you in backwards-facing crashes.

With protection covered, Catlike turned to fit. Its MPS eVo micro-dial system expands or contracts thin arms that wrap around your head, and there are two independently adjustable rear head supporters and lateral wing pads that help you adjust volume. MPS eVo also allows vertical adjustment, so even if you're a conehead you'll be able to dial in a killer fit.
