Description

When you can't sacrifice strength and power.

How do you confidently navigate treacherous but insanely exciting rapids and deep waterways? With lots of training, experience, and the Cataract Oars SGG Oar. The SGG Oar has the feel of wood when it rebounds off the water and it offers a high strength-to-weight ratio that rivals a full carbon or composite shaft.

  • Fiberglass, carbon, and epoxy composite shaft material creates a unique blend of low weight, flexibility, and durability
  • This is a shaft and handle only—blade sold separately
  • See tech specs for actual shaft length—when you order, your drop-down choice will show the total length of the shaft with a blade attached

Great Light Oars

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These were great on the Grand Canyon. Arms never got tired like on the heavy wooden oars. Great response and strength.
