Description
You'll be comfortable all day long ... as long as you don't run over a prickly pear cactus.
Castelli's Prologo HD Jersey is one of the more conservative jerseys in the Castelli line-up. The paneling is rather simple for Castelli and the logo somewhat understated. Still, this is no plain jersey.
The bulk of the jersey material used is Castelli's Stratus fabric with Prosecco treatment. Stratus is a dual-layer 100% polyester knit weave. The inner layer is a multifilament web that moves moisture from your skin or base layer to the outside of the fabric. The outer layer is a micro fiber weave that allows the sweat to evaporate in the wind. Prosecco is a treatment that helps water disperse and evaporate faster rather than staying in the jersey. There's a mesh panel down the back from the shoulders to the top of the middle pocket. This panel allows for a little more stretch and a little more venting in a place where the wind can't get to you. At the top of the mesh is a rubber Italian tricolor permanently bonded to the fabric.
The set-in sleeves and waist have a light binding in the cuffs, but the jersey is designed to fit close, so these simply add to the mooring of the top to your body.
There are three standard rear pockets with the Castelli scorpion on the middle pocket. The right side gets a mini-zip pocket for precious and small items like your credit card and keys. There's a Castelli logo emblazoned across the chest, and the hidden front zipper is 35cm long.
The Castelli Prologo HD Jersey comes in Red/White/Cyan and White/Black/Red. Sizes run from Small to XX-Large.
- Mesh insert on the back panel further cools your body and customizes the fit without impeding aerodynamics
- Three rear pockets hold all the supplies you'll need for a full day on the road, while a hidden zip pocket gives you a great place to stash your house key
- Vent the 3/4-length hidden zip to cool your core on the ascent

I'm 6'185-190lbs with an athletic build. The LARGE fits perfectly. Will order one more before they are gone. BTW, I wish they didn't put the "iron-on" logo on the back pocket...

Does the white/cyan/red jersey have the "Castelli" across the front? Or is it just the others that do?

It says Castelli on the chest but the letters are white so it's hardly noticeable from afar.

Bought a large originally based on size chart. Wow! Very slim cut. Large Castelli is much smaller than Large Pearl Izumi. I like the other features of the jersey. A little more personality than most.

Definitely not the same quality as the newer, higher priced Castelli gear, but for the price it's a decent jersey. Fit is like all Castelli jerseys, order a size up. The zipper, which is not the multi-purpose zipper, does rub slightly near the bottom, but nothing that is terribly uncomfortable. The jersey does look really good though, at least on me.
Just right

Got the Grey/Black with Orange graphics...quality of fit and construction is superb. It looks really good. Fit is race-snug but not restricting. Zipper is a little dainty but it stays comfortably out of the way and functions fine. Three rear open pockets plus one small zipper pocket on the right side...really nice detail for stashing cash or ID...stuff you want to keep on you, but not necessarily jammed in with gel packs and flat repair kits. Love all the little details like a rubber Italian flag just below the rear neckline, the 4th pocket, the mesh pits. Very satisfied with this purchase
Good Jersey

Great jersey. The mesh vents let the jersey breathe well. Great for the Arizona heat. I have a couple of them now.

Nice Jersey. However, in my opinion this does not fit the way my other Castellis do. This is true to size. So my advice would be to not order one size up which is what most people have to do with Castelli.
Great fitting, comfortable in the heat even in black

I've got the all black and have worn it on some blistering days. Kept me fine. It isn't the lightest jersey in my closet but it is one of my go to jerseys. I'm 5'10" - 152 lbs and the medium fits me close enough to be a race day jersey. Only issue ever is that the pocket zipper can be finicky opening and closing from time to time, but once closed you know you won't loose your keys.
Fine jersey

Just what I'd expect from a Castelli jersey. Cool, comfortable, well made. Definitely a training jersey, though, as it's on the looser side of the spectrum. I'm 6'0, 147lbs and ordered a medium. Almost wonder what a small would fit like...
It works, it fits, it wears well

I love Castelli stuff. This has not disappointed, and the white color is great for keeping the heat down in South Texas.

This is now my favorite jersey. It is extremely comfortable. Fits very well. And the white helps in this heat.
