Description

Your successors won't even have it this good.

As the name suggests, the Castelli Prima Full Zip Short Sleeve Jersey will likely be your first choice for your daily rides once you have a chance to try it. Boasting Castelli's advanced design and construction, the Prima Jersey works hard keeping you dry so you can concentrate on riding the competition off your wheel.

Comfort and fit are Castelli's primary focus for this jersey. By using the Prosecco 3D fabric, Castelli has guaranteed that you'll feel comfortable and dry no matter how hot and humid the day is. That's because the Prosecco hydrophilic treatment speeds up the evaporation of any resulting moisture by spreading it over a larger surface area within the fabric. The 3-D structure of the fabric makes it seem like it is practically floating above your skin, providing just enough contact points to improve wicking without that uncomfortable clinging feeling. Consequently, you stay dry and comfortable.

The multi-panel construction has been specially designed so that you will feel like the jersey was practically custom-made for you. There are three large patch pockets and one additional zipper pocket for your essentials, so you can stuff in enough kit in them for a five-hour. You can also count on the sublimated graphics staying crisp and fresh even after repeated wear and subsequent washings.

The full-length camlock YKK zipper will be your best friend during those hair raising moments when you have to sit up to zip up, even as you are cresting a mountain pass on a path just a few feet from the highway traffic. For added safety, reflective tabs have also been included so that you'll give the cars a little warning of your presence after dusk.

The Castelli Prima Full Zip Short Sleeve Jersey comes in five color combinations that will please you with their hint of the Italian flag colors at the arms: Cyan/Black/White, White/Cyan/Green, Anthracite/White/Black, White/Black/Red, and Black/Yellow/Anthracite. It is available in Small through XXX-Large.

  • Raglan sleeves help ensure a perfectly ergonomic fit around your chest and shoulders
  • Three back pockets house plenty of storage space for your essentials

This jersey is great for summer riding. The material is lightweight, breathable, and high quality. Note: This jersey does not have any sleeve or waist grippers. Also, Castelli runs euro sizing so sizing up would be recommended from what you may typically wear. For reference, I am 5'10" 175lbs, the large was a tight race cut, but I prefered the XL size for a more relaxed fit.

Sweet looking jersey....got the black w/fluo yellow. 5'9" 145 lbs., 38" chest, the Medium fits perfectly....snug, but not tight. Very happy with this jersey buy, especially at discount!

I also have the Castelli Fuga jersey, fits the same way, same "thumbs up" review.

If you are slender(racer body), then Castelli is the brand for you. I am 6' tall and 170lbs with 31" waist and 39" chest. In Castelli I wear a size Large. I like a good tight race race fit as where my buddy of exact build prefers Castelli gear in XL but my opinion is it looks silly being slightly loose. If you have a belly really size up or buy another brand because it will show. I have almost every model of higher end Castelli jerseys and the Prima is definitely one of my top picks. Pair it up with the Body Paint 2.0 bibs and it just doesn't get any better.

When I received this shirt, or "Quando ho ricevuto questa maglia," I was just struck by it's beauty. "Dude you're talking about a cycling jersey" OK so it's not a car... or a bike... but a jersey! Hey, we all like gear. And if I'm going to shell out 120 bones for a cycling jersey, you can rest assure I'm going to be awestruck by some threads made of Prosecco 3D fabric. It's comfy, the zipper feels solid and the construction appears to be top notch.

I bought the black jersey. The great guys at Realcyclist recommended I buy the large. I must say the shirt fits perfectly. Im 5'10", 155lbs, 32" waist, rocking a big diesel 38" chest.

Hope you enjoy this jersey as much as I do.
