Here's what others have to say...

Fits my hands like a glove

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

The best fitting gloves I've ever had. I thought it might be a little tight when I first tried them on but after one ride, they seemed to stretch out a bit and now fits great. I like the looks, padding and breathability so far. For the price I got them on sale for, I'm very satisfied with these Castellis. Durability is the only thing I can't comment about but if they last a year, I will be very happy since I haven't had a pair of cycling gloves last me more than that.

Bad Design

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Nice workmanship and style. Padding is useless. They are less effective than Castelli's light design.

Handle with care

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

These gloves fit great, look great and feel great. I've owned lots of Castelli gloves and as long as you handle them with care they last. If you don't the seams give out. I take the extra couple of seconds when removing the gloves and make sure I don't stress the seams, if you do that I think you will really like these gloves.

Great fit, comfortable

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Comfortable on long rides. Hands don't get too sweaty, even in the real hot summer days.

Great fit Great fit

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

    Size Purchased: Large

I love these gloves. For me the fit was perfect, construction and quality is excellent. I bought 2 additional pair.

I'd say they get a hearty "meh"

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I'll first say that I prefer gloves with minimal padding, mesh on the backs and no mechanical closure system. With fingerless gloves... simple is better. Castelli typically does a bang-up job with their range of summer gloves but this pair didn't even last through the summer before the stitching started to tear at the wrist. Pulling them off sweaty palms with the little tabs between the fingers is useless and an exercise in futility; never mind patience.

I found the best practice was to try and roll the gloves off the back of my hands then turn them inside out to let them dry. After drying to the hardness of an overcooked peanut brittle; they become even more difficult to pull on. Castelli gave no reinforcement at the wrist seams to seat the glove on the hands so the fragile mesh/seam location took the brunt of the stress. Before a month was out, I could see stitches giving way and the seam pulling from the mesh. Too bad... I still have an older pair of Castelli gloves with less padding yet are more durable than these. Overpaid for a product that can't take the daily abuses of riding.

Seams need work

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

5 start for fit, comfortable, aesthetics.

2 stars for durability. Seams blew in several places along the outside and fingers after a few rides. This seems to be ongoing problem with Castelli but I'll keep the review to just these gloves.

Personal note: Don't buy white - they're a pain to keep clean and one snot rub will blow (get it?) the aesthetics.
