Basics, Italian style.
Castelli always nails the look, from their most entry-level offerings to their highest end. The Fortuna Women’s Jersey is certainly no exception, with bold colors taking the lead, and strong secondary colors and graphics following closely behind. The jersey is sewn from Castelli’s Prosecco fabric, which wicks moisture away from your body to keep you comfortable and chafe-free. There’s also a 3/4 –length hidden zipper that allows you to dump a little heat on the fly for those really hot days.
- Prosecco moisture-wicking fabric
- Three-quarter-length hidden zipper
- Reflective elements
- Drop-tail hem for full coverage
- Item #CST001C
- Q & A
keeps cool, decent fit
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: Medium (but I buy small in every other company's jersey)
Looks sharp and does the job. I like the details, but the fit isn't quite ideal. Wish the zipper went all the way down, but I knew that when I bought it. Have been out in it half a dozen times and got a few compliments. Can't complain, found a deal on it through Competitive Cyclist and I'd purchase it again. Castelli runs small in general so size up if it's your first Castelli jersey or if you're on the edge.
super weird fit!
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: small
This jersey was cut fine at the top, but around the hip area it drastically flared out. It seemed like it would not stay down as there were about 4 inches of extra fabric (and I ordered a size S, same size as all other Castelli items I own!) I'm returning this.
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: M
I have an hourglass figure & like a little room in my jerseys so I ordered a size up. The seams on this jersey made my chest/ breasts look bigger & the bottom of the top puffed out. The fabric is very comfortable & airy- just right for summer.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs small
This top was cut oddly, compared to other Castelli tops I own. There isn't any elastic or anything to hold it down, so it rides up in front anytime you walk or move the slightest. The sleeves are incredibly tight compared to other Castelli tops of the same size. The material also feels somewhat cheap. Not happy with this one.
