Don't think of the Castelli Feroce Midweight Long Sleeve Base Layer as 'just' a long sleeve base layer. Instead, think of it as a short sleeve base layer with arm warmers attached. Designed to be worn underneath a short sleeve jersey -- such as Castelli's Fedele full zip jersey -- the versatile Feroce long sleeve base layer is ideal for riding in cool, windy conditions.
The Feroce's sleeves are made using Castelli's heaviest weight seamless blend of polyester and lycra for a snug, comfortable fit. The body is constructed from medium-weight fabric with excellent moisture management for warmth and insulation, while lighter-weight material is positioned under the straps of your bib shorts to create what Castelli calls 'a perfect temperature equilibrium.' The Feroce is also cut long at the waist to prevent it from riding up and out of your bibs.
The Castelli Feroce Midweight Long Sleeve Base Layer is available in White and comes in three sizes -- Small/Medium, Large/X-Large, and XX-Large. Like most Castelli clothing, the Feroce base layer is designed to be form-fitting as the technical fabrics used to construct the garment work best when in close contact with your body. Be sure to check the sizing chart to ensure proper fit.

I run a grip of base layers for multiple activities in motion. I would say that this pice alone is the most versatile and used piece in my Mid Atlantic riding apparel arsenal. It gets more days on the bike than any other piece I own. I ride 4 seasons back in NJ and this is a must for tackling cools spring mornings, relieving cycle chaffe used under bibs and perfect for layering up on thiose frosty winter loops.
One of the better baselayer products I have ever owned, it keeps me super warm, and the sleeves are nice and long; I'm 6'4" 160lbs and it fits like a glove, goes great under the bibs and has a longer back so my tailbone doesn't get cold. The sleeves will also work great instead of wearing armwarmers, even though they are a little loose at the elbow so you can roll them up.
