Description

All weather paw protection.

Keeping your hands warm and dry in cold, wet conditions can seem harder than finding an honest man in Congress. Fortunately, for scuba divers, surfers, and those of us who refuse to get off the bike when the weather gets nasty, we have neoprene. Few materials excel at defeating cold, wet conditions with the verve of neoprene. The Castelli Diluvio Gloves are constructed from 3mm neoprene to keep out wind and water alike. A textured grip on the palm makes sure your hold on the bar remains secure at all times. And because exposed skin is unpleasant, whether it's your hand or wrist, the glove's cuff extends far enough to tuck it inside your jacket sleeve. Simply put, the freezing cold day has met its match.

The Castelli Diluvio Gloves come in Black and in two sizes -- Small/Medium and Large/X-Large.

I absolutely love these gloves, they warm up as I ride them, you get used to having damp hands when you remove them, they are worth that. They fit tight and are fairly useable, I can unwrap and eat food while wearing them even, cant do that in my old bulky gloves. They are perfect for when you are riding in the cold rain like here in Vancouver on the West Coast.

These gloves have a lot going for them. Like a lot a lot. Here's what's great:
- Snug fit, most dexterity I've ever had with a glove
- Great grip, textured palms and fingers grip even when it's extra nasty
- Nice design, clean lines and decals
- Plenty warm for most temperatures

That last bullet point gets a bit of a caveat though. These gloves do need a bit of TLC when it's extra cold out. If you're outside and not wearing them, you need to keep them warm (i.e. stick them in your armpit). Putting these gloves on cold results in them taking forever to get warm, to the point where they're borderline useless. And, if it is a colder day out (20 degrees or so), they might not even hold up to the cold.

Still, if you're snot isn't freezing, these are a great set of gloves. Very happy with the purchase.

These are some fantastic cold weather gloves. I wear them on any cold ride. It makes me look forward to a cold commute. I have enough space inside to add an additional, thin runners glove to add more warmth if needed. The gloves are not cumbersome enough to mess with shifting or braking, in fact, they're not cumbersome at all. The grip is very grippy, especially on the first few rides. I was sticking to the hoods. Not in a bad way. I'd highly recommend these. I might even purchase a second pair on sale.

Definitely keeps your hands warm on cold days like no other gloves I worn before. Be prepared for sweaty hands and wet gloves (on the inside) when you get back. I take care to allow the gloves to air dry thoroughly after riding. As needed, I wash in delicate cycle using All Free Clear brand laundry and air dry.

This glove will keep most cold weather commuters happy. I live in DC and never really find myself wishing for something warmer in the winter months.

The only thing worth mentioning that may be a turnoff for some is the sweat factor. The way these gloves keep you warm without being super bulky is that they simply don't let any heat out. That means the perspiration of your sweaty hands will remain in the glove as well. To me this is irrelevant because I shower when I get to work - if you don't, a simple hand washing will get rid of the sweaty feeling.

Several wet and cold rides with these gloves and they always keep my fingers very warm. Neoprene is very form fitting and i love that it does not have a velcro closure; fits very snug against body not allowing a draft in around the cuff. The palm is very cool looking and grippy, I feel like Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe when i wear these! Another great product from Castelli. It would be nice however to have some outer fleece on the back of the thumb to wipe my nose with; neoprene is not very soft against a runny nose!!

Glove fit and performance in 50 degree weather has been awesome. Glove kept me warm and dry on several wet rides of over a couple of hours. Very happy RealCyclist customer. Every transaction with RC has been easy, as advertised items and great shipping speed and packaging! By the way, the discount certificate received from prior purchase helped with last purchase and is greatly appreciated!!!!

These gloves are comfy and of high quality. The stitching is great. Perfect for cold weather and they look cool too! It has plenty of grip on the palm so slipping is of no concern.
