Castelli named the Men’s Armando Quarter-Zip Cycling Jersey in honor of one of cycling apparel’s great innovators, Armando Castelli, who made a silk jersey for Fausto Coppi, five-time winner of the Giro d’Italia. Before silk (and spandex and other fabric innovations that helped cyclists get an edge on the competition), riders wore wool. In keeping with old school style, this wool shirt’s two back pockets feature button closures.

This jersey is very warm, though a little bit itchy. I'm 6'2" with a 41" chest, 32" waist, and 35" sleeve length and it fits me pretty well. The waist could be a bit more snug, as it allows drafts to enter.
I just measured it, and the free-hanging neck-to-tail length is approximately 30.5 inches.

I wore this jersey on a MS ride last weekend. Cold, rainy morning. I was really happy I had on my retro/hi-tech jersey. It really kept me warm and stylish, and yet I didn't overheat on the big climbs. Not exactly race-worthy, but perfect for fall/spring fun rides.
