True to size and cute style! I usually wear a medium/large and a large worked perfectly in this top. It does have light liners that are removable. I'm an a/b cup and it works really well for me. I don't think it'd be the best choice for larger chests though.
is there any kind of padding or underwire on these tops?

No there is no padding or underwire in the Catalina. The Catalina is a basic slip-on that is not made for great support for bigger-chested ladies (but works GREAT for the smaller-chested and works okay for the medium-chested ladies).
If you'd like some padding, you'll find some in the Cali Convertible.

So cute and fit like a bug in a rug. I have never in my life (43 yrs) thought I would buy a bikini (bought top and bottom) online without trying it on. Guess what it worked. I am 5'8 about a size 6 and a medium was perfect. My sister loved it so much she is buying it.

I really like this top because it's sporty (aka it will stay on while surfing) but it's also cute and sexy without being totally revealing. Very comfortable and I really like the back straps. The bottoms that go with this are super comfy too. Love the purple color.
