The Carhartt Men's Washed Duck Work Shorts are a burly pair of canvas shorts great for summer jobs and hikes. And no, they're not made from squeaky clean ducks. Duck fabric is rung-spun 12oz cotton, and it happens to be very durable. These work shorts have a relaxed, non-baggy fit and a mid-rise waist. Multiple tool pockets and a hammer loop are convenient spots for extra nails, drill bits, or trail snacks.

Got hooked on carhartts wearing the pant version of these while deployed overseas. This is tough, heavyweight cotton and will give you alot of life. In case you dont already know "carhartt brown" looks like Georgia clay. Its their signature color - wear it proudly!

Carhartt shorts are pretty much all i wear, excluding carhartt pants when it is chilly out. i usually wear one pair for a year then get a new one. What usually fails on the shorts first for me is the crotch, then the butt. When the shorts get older, washing them wears them out alot, so if you dont mind dirty pants, these are the perfect ticket for you.

These are some durable shorts that will take a lot of effort to wear out. Extra pockets on these, like all Carhartt pants/shorts is great for stashing extra gear.
