The Carhartt Women’s Traditional-Fit Straight-Leg Denim Pant isn’t just a jean—it’s a bona fide work pant that happens to flaunt a little blue jean style. Carhartt used a touch of spandex in the pant’s fabric for stretch and give, so you can chase the kids or work the autumn harvest without any restriction of movement. I bought these pants this spring for the upcoming field season. I ended up wearing them around town as casual wear for months before putting them to the real test. As far durability goes, I have no doubt these are going to last me for multiple seasons. The triple-stitched seams means no crotch-ripping after 1 summer, and the design means that I won't mind wearing them on town days either. They are cut more flattering than other Carhartt pants (Including the other female-friendly styles) but I don't really notice the spandex. With this new cut there is decidedly less room for a pair of long underwear in my regular size. All in all my new favourite work pant.
