Classic styling and advanced materials.

Capo's aesthetic is undeniably classic, but it's the high-tech materials that make its jerseys more than handsome examples of Italian craftsmanship. The Pursuit Jersey, for example, is a relatively straightforward jersey made of Cube TX, a lightweight circular knit that has exceptional breathability and moisture-management characteristics, so it stays dry and comfortable no matter how hot the weather.

The Pursuit is also outfitted with Eyelet Mesh microfiber in key areas, including under the arms, to enhance cooling and moisture transfer, while a locking front zipper provides fully adjustable cooling and ventilation. A slightly dropped back hem provides full coverage, and three back pockets hold your bottles and gels so you don't bonk.

fit & sleeves didn't work for me

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'9"
    Weight: 152 lbs
    Size Purchased: medium

I bought this jersey at the same time as the Castelli Segno jersey. I wanted a (mostly) solid red and understated jersey and they both met that criteria so I planned on returning my least favorite one. This was a jersey shootout. Thank you Backcountry for cheap and easy returns! What I liked about the Capo Pursuit jersey is that it has a quality zipper, the looks are perfect and the fabric is great. I love the simple, classic graphics. It has an almost retro look to it and the fabric is soft, silky, and light. It’d be great for warm weather and the venting in the pits would help in that regard. However, I think fabric would also work nicely for cooler weather. It’s not a jersey for the absolute hottest weather. What I don’t like about this jersey is the fit. I’m 5’9” and 152 pounds a got the medium which is definitely the right size for me. A small would be too short and a large would be way too big. But the jersey is made with a slightly loose cut and I prefer a racier fit. Also, the sleeves were loose and short which really bothers me. I prefer my sleeves to come past my bicep. I didn’t like the looks of the Castelli Segno jersey as well but I liked everything else about it better than the Capo jersey so Castelli won the shootout and I returned the Capo. This is the second time I’ve been disappointed in a Capo jersey. I also have the 2014 Modena jersey and the fabric on that one is coarse, the sleeves are too short and loose, and it’s basically a club cut. However, the Modena was only $30 and it works in cold weather so I’m glad I kept that one. Interestingly, I have some Capo Pursuit bibs that I like a lot so I do have some faith in Capo. Anyways, like I said, I did keep the Castelli Segno jersey and also did a review on that one if you’re interested.

Great looking jersey.

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I think this is one of the best looking jerseys available and even though it was a little tight when I tried it on, I wore it on a ride anyway. I am 6'1" and weigh 178 and I got the large. It is just too tight and rather short in the torso. Unfortunately I will need to find a smaller riding partner to give this beautiful jersey to.
