Description

Versatile warmth for transitional seasons.

When you're going out for a long training ride during a transitional season, the more versatile that your clothing is, the better. After all, conditions have a tendency to change in an instant. Luckily, though, the Capo Roubaix Knee Warmers allow you to convert your cold-weather shorts, like the Capo Pursuit Roubaix Bib Shorts, into warming, soft, and breathable full-length tights.

Capo's leg warmers rely on the winter-weight Thermo Roubaix fabric in order to provide comfort in cool- to cold-weather conditions. Woven with a hollow core, the stretchy microfiber is brushed on the inside as to capture the warmth that your body creates in the soft, fleece-like inner layer. And, though, the warmth aspect is an important quality, the moisture-wicking elements is equally paramount. Think about it, wet skin isn't warm skin. So, by pulling sweat away from your body for a rapid evaporation, your warmth is guaranteed during hard exertions, as well.

To eliminate seams over the front and back of the knees, the warmers have been cut into a multi-panel design. The three-panel design also allows the warmers to move with your legs as you pedal, so bunching doesn't occur across the back of your knees. The top hems have elastic grippers on the outside, which link up with the lower grippers of bib shorts in order to keep everything in place without uncomfortable pinching or constriction. And with this system, it truly feels like you're wearing tights rather than multiple pieces. Additionally, the lower hems feature internal grippers, and 15cm zips simplify entry and exit of the warmers. You'll also find reflective elements throughout the warmers that will increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions.

The Capo Roubaix Leg Warmers are available in the sizes Small/medium and Large/x-large and in the colors Black, Navy, Red, and White. Please note that Capo suggests that the leg warmers are most effectively worn in temperatures ranging between 45 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
