Your jibbing dreams have come true.
Based on Capita's best-selling men's Horrorscope, the Women's Space Metal Fantasy FK Snowboard is a jib girl's best friend. It has a buttery flex, forgiving profile, and twin shape to help you step up your freestyle game whether you're lapping the park or throwing down in the streets.
The rockered portion extends from under the bindings out to the tips, giving it a loose, catch-free feel that's a blast to jib with, while a flat section between the inserts makes it stable enough to take through the jump line and stomp urban drops. Form 6 biax glass gives it smooth, forgiving flex for easy turn initiation and tweaked butters and presses.
Blunted tips reduce swing weight and allow you to ride a slightly shorter length than before. New this season is an all-wood poplar core that increases strength and pop while still providing a smooth flex for tweaked presses. It's finished off with an HMC extruded base that's harder and tougher than standard extruded bases, yet still just as easy to repair after you ding it up.

New favorite board!
She has very quickly worked her way to the top of my quiver! I'm smitten!
Space Metal Fantasy
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Initial impression: "Whoa, this is stiffer than I thought it would be. Not crazy-stiff, just stiffer-stiff. Did I order the wrong one? Are there multiple Space Metal Fantasy's with different flexibility ratings?! I thought this was a jib board! AHHH!!"
Impression after one run through the park: "Yep. I get it. I toooootally get it. YAHOOOOOOOOO!!!"
This board is a bit of a mystery to me, even now. I'm not sure how it's able to be a rocker shape, feel somewhat stiff (a bit difficult to press), and yet have pop on jumps and be forgiving on jibs! I don't get it, but then again, I'm not questioning it. It's a beautiful, beautiful hybrid... like some sort of snowboard unicorn.
SUPER stoked on this board purchase!!! Thanks to Sarah S. for all the help!!
