Making 'em like they used to.

Don't waste money on boards with fancy-looking shapes and gimmicky-sounding materials when you can get the same level of performance from the Capita NAS Snowboard instead. The NAS stands for "Normal Ass Snowboard" because it has tried-and-true traditional camber and an all-wood core to take on anything the mountain has to offer. This is the deck Kazu Kokubo rides from the superpipe to the backcountry thanks to its fast, powerful feel. In other words, it's up to the task, no matter how hard you shred.

Traditional camber provides a level of power and precision that no other profile can touch, and the stiff flex gives it drive and stability for going super-fast and extra-huge. Dual carbon rods running vertically down the board increase pop and rebound, and the RFC Sustainable Select poplar wood core comes from sustainably-harvested wood to provide a lightweight and lively feel without contributing to the destruction of the rainforest.

Special Blend EVO biax glass provides a smooth, consistent flex, and it's bonded with a polyurethane-based resin that's less harmful to factory workers than traditional resins. It has a true twin profile for unrestricted switch trickery, but don't let that keep you from taking this thing into the deep stuff, because it kills it there too. The sintered base is wax-infused to prevent it from drying out, and tough so it can take a beating and keep getting up for more.

Thank god Capita is still making badass traditional camber snowboards. This is one of the most fun, poppy, corduroy destroying boards. You can lay this thing over and drag your chest on the ground without losing an edge, and have no problem hitting that 60 foot booter with confidence. Plus this is the machine KAZU uses no matter what the conditions are (seriously watch the new capita movie). Boards were made this way for a reason and i'm stoked Capita continues making em' with the NAS.

My girlfriend made fun of me for getting this board. We live in Utah and ride powder quite a lot on powder specific boards. Some days though you're laying down fat carves on warm groomers. If you surf greens like a dork in the spring, this should be your second board.
