is this board good for boardsliding i love jibbing but i love having flat camber boards should i go with this or stay flat. Ik this has the flatkick

Responded on

This board will be great for that. I personally like a little kick or rocker or jibbing but it's all about personal preference. For actual boardslides you wont really notice a difference, but for presses some people might argue a little kick helps.

i'm 5'3" 120 pounds. i ride east coast park, so jibs and a few jumps. could i get away with a 145?

Responded on

Hey Eli,

Yeah the 145 would work, probably wouldn't hurt to go even a bit smaller if its available to you.

I really want to get better with butters, jibs and presses. But I also like carving steep groomers... I'm pretty tall and light(6'2 160lbs) so I don't have that much weight to throw around, so I thought this might be a good board for me because of it's flexibility. Do you think this would be a good board for me?

good

the board is pretty cool, its pretty loose and has a good amount of flex for park riding. The board isn't very durable but it's decent, it's also not the best outside of the park, but then again its a park board.

Not recommended if you ride hard

The board is made specifically for the park, 2 days in the park and the heelside rail popped off of mine while i boardslid a downflat down kinked handrail. I got bounced off the kink when it actually popped.Iv done this same trick on this handrail for 2 years with my Lib Tech Travis Rice pro model and that board still looks and rides great.
The capita rode great until the break, it had good pop and great flex it just was too cheaply made to hold up in the park.
The warranty on the board is terrible, capita has a terrible warranty program on all their boards. The board was specifically made for jibbing in the park and the second you jib anything with it the warranty is completely invalid. Burton and Lib Tech cover jib damage on all of their jib boards. I cracked a rail on a Burton wammy bar last year and they sent me a new one out in 2 days.
I cant say the board sucks, i loved it till it broke. I frankensteined it together with alot of p-tec and it rides alright. just dont buy a Capita if you plan on riding it hard and cant afford to buy 3 a year.

Responded on

If you bought it off of dogfunk, why don't you return it? I'm guessing you didn't buy it off here though.

Responded on

i bought the horrorscope from zumiez at the begining of this last season and separated the edge, when i returned it they not only gave me a new board but upgraded me to the indoor survival for free cuz the prices had just dropped. i call ur BS man, dont hate the capitazzzzzzzzzzzz

Great board

I am5'7" 120 and ride a 147,
i absolutely love it, super flexy but still has the pop of a regular board. For being a super soft board it can still handle being spun on the 40 footers where I ride, the biggest jump there is about 45 feet and it's solid on the jumps. Overall a great board from hand rails to big jump lines in the park

horrrorscope

this board features urban flat kick tech. so it rides a little looser then other flat kick boards by capita. the board is flat between your feet, and allows you to haul some ass if needed.

Best hand rail board!

This board is sick for the streets and park! It is flat kick and it is super flexy! If you like to press your board to the sky, then I would recommend this for you! Its an amazing hand rail board as well, if you like to hit the streets!

im 5'8'' 140, should i ride the 147 or 49?

Responded on

I am 5'9'', 140 and i have the 147.. It's a great park board ans has even served me well in high speeds, but if you want something fo huge booters and all mountain you should either size up or better look at another board. Otherwise you will be fine on either the 47 or 49, I dont think there is a huge fifference between them but for jibbing the smaller you go the better. Also make sure it fits your shoe size

Best Answer Responded on

Yeah since you are really light weight you should go with the smallest size (145) if you are getting this board.
