Why We Like The CAPiTA Black Snowboard of Death

CAPiTA's The Black Snowboard of Death is an all-terrain destroyer that we love for pillaging powder, slaying steeps, and terrorizing trees with effortless float, powerful response, and quick-turning agility. Its directional shape and slight taper from nose to tail naturally sink the tail in deeper snow and charge through all conditions. The Alpine V1 Profile has a large cambered zone for unmatched power and pop, with a flat tail that provides stability during landings, while a large rockered nose adds float. CAPiTA integrates post-consumer recycled Thermopolymer in the Thermopolymer Hover Core for an extremely light and strong performance with excellent dampening properties to create a smooth ride.

BSOD

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
159
Weight:
150

My favorite board for bigger terrain, riding trees and variable soft conditions. The BSOD is a powerful, hard charging free ride board that kills steep and technical freeride lines. One of my favorites for banked slaloms, the board rides very calm at high speeds. If you are into a nice turn, this sidecut is worth a ride.
