Enter the dark side.

Drop into the dark side of all-terrain destruction with the Capita Black Snowboard of Death. This freeride board pillages powder, slays steeps, and terrorizes trees with effortless float, powerful response, and quick-turning agility. Made for powerful riders, the Black Snowboard of Death features a mid-stiff flex that's best suited for pointing it down steeps and carving at scary-fast speeds.

Its directional shape and slight tapering naturally sink the tail in deeper snow, keeping the nose up and planing on epic powder days. Further contributing to the board's freeride prowess, its Mountain FK profile features mid-board camber, with a custom-tuned nose rocker and zero-hybrid tail. Ultimately, this produces an ideal combination of effortless float in powder, razor-sharp response for charging steeps, and powerful edgehold needed to carve with precision.

Capita placed its lightest Hover Core in the Black Snowboard of Death, keeping the board incredibly light underfoot, with plenty of snap and strength needed to send backcountry kickers and stomp cliff drops. 4x 30mm Nano-Carbon forks deliver 25% more compressive strength than standard carbon boosters for incredible stability at high speeds. Additionally, the board's urethane topsheet anchor works to reduce impacts, much like an ultra-thin shock absorber. Adding even more tech, the brand new Omega Speed sintered base is incredibly porous, absorbing more wax for the fastest straight-line performance available in Capita's line.

The Black Review of Death

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Capita's longest running series, since day one, has never been so popular. The BSOD has evolved more then any other board in Capita's collection. It rides best in freeride conditions. This light weight board is easy to do quick hikes with. The reverse camber thru the front of the board and slight tapper thru the tail set you up perfect in soft conditions. The BSOD is snappier then ever with new Nano Carbon forks in the nose and tail. This board is no joke and will make you a believer.
