    Smoothly integrated.

Cane Creek has become synonymous with dependable, well-made componentry, and the 110-Series Integrated Headset is an excellent example of everything the North Carolina-based brand is associated with: careful construction and effective design that both looks good and functions exactly how it's supposed to. It's not common we find products that are guaranteed for the next 110 years, and the lifetime-plus warranty speaks to Cane Creek's attention to detail and confidence in its designs.

Starting with treated, U.S.-made 7075 T-6 aluminum, Cane Creek engineers carefully shape the 110 IS to eliminate weight wherever possible without sacrificing any structural integrity. IS refers to Cane Creek's internal headset design and, and it houses stainless steel bearings with low-friction seals on the upper bearing and a dual-sealed crown race to keep grease in and contaminants out. The result is responsive, effective steering that feels solid but never clunky.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

They do make a 40 series of this headset that you can also run on your frame that has integrated cups. But really you should just spend the extra money and buy the nicer headset. there isn't too much more on a bike that you can claim is more important than a headset,
