Developed for scientists working in Antarctica, the Canada Goose Women’s Polar Bears International Expedition Down Parka is basically one of the warmest coats you can possibly get. (We hear it can be chilly down there.) And what makes a jacket that protects you from beyond-frigid conditions even better? The fact that Canada Goose donates $25 for each sale to support Polar Bears International. If the happily warm scientists are working to save the bears’ habitat, Canada Goose figures it should do the same.

  • Mid-thigh length hem provides ample protection
  • Full storm flap covers the heavy-duty two-way front zipper for complete wind blocking
  • 625 fill power white duck down creates high-loft insulation against the elements
  • Elasticized snow skirt and waist drawcord ensure the jacket fits snugly and blocks the snow out
  • Inset nylon rib-knit cuffs won’t let cold air slip into your gloves
  • Nine easy-to-access pockets keep small essentials easily within reach
  • Coyote fur hood trim keeps the cold air from slipping in when your hood is up, and a wire bracing system holds the hood in place in high-wind conditions
  • Water-repellent, abrasion-resistant fabric deflects wind and water while the jacket’s inner insulation maintains warmth
  • Polar Bears International logo patch on shoulder shows your support of this species’ cause—and your shared appreciation for icy climes

Bottom Line: Expedition-worthy protection from the elements. The polar bears know how important that is.

I would recommend a large as well. I'm 5'6 and 139 and a medium is a perfect fit for me.
