I have 2 Lodge vests Lime and Black 3 years old. I was running around 230lbs. and 5'10. The warmest vest I could find with style. I might note my Lodge coat runs true in seizing also. The zipper is euro lefty, but build to last and not hang up..Quality all the way

I'm 5'8" and I think this vest is a great length. Originally I had purchased the patagonia down sweater vest (size medium). The patagonia was nice, but too long on me. So I got rid of the patagonia and purchased this canada goose lodge vest. I love it! Yes, it is overpriced, but it is a really nice product. More importantly, it fits great. I tried a medium at first, but it was too big. Not huge, but I like my vests to be snug, and the CG medium was not as snug as the patagonia medium. So I returned the CG medium for a CG small. Boom, fits like a glove. If it was less expensive, I would give it 5 stars.

I recently took delivery of my CG Lodge vest and it doesn't disappoint. I wore it as an underlayer with my TNF Gotham coat to protect against -20 windchill and my upper body was noticably warmer than just wearing my TNF Vicente fleece. My only regret is that I bought my TNF Gotham coat instead of the CG Chilliwack parka. Spending the extra money is well worth it imo. Oh, for some reason I noticed that CG gear is either fitted or sized for smaller people. If you like a little bit of extra room in your coat then I suggest ordering 1 size up. The sizing chart for the CG Lodge vest stated that a size medium would've worked for my frame, but I ordered a size large and it fits me perfectly.

This is a nice vest, however $300 is just to much for this or any other vest. Yes it's warm, but so is my $59 down vest from Cabelas. Look at Montbell or Patagonia etc. and pay a third the price.

... to carry on - very compact - good insulation. to stuff it into pocket a little bit of a hassle, but would not miss it.
