When you settle down at a campsite surrounded by bright yellow, red, and orange leaves, stay warm throughout the night with the Canada Goose Lodge Down Hooded Jacket. A four-way adjustable hood and long back seal out the swirling wind, while the duck down insulation conserves your body heat as the temperature plummets.

  • Jacket packs into soft interior pocket, creating a pillow when you retreat to the tent and a small package to stuff into your pack
  • DWR finish on fabrics sheds snow or drizzle as you scramble back to camp
  • Additional lining on the back neck and cuffs provides extra warmth where you need it
  • Hand pocket accessed hem adjuster enables a tighter fit without exposing skin
  • Storm flap over the front zipper eliminates drafts

Bottom Line: As fall falls into winter, warm your core in the Lodge Down Hooded Jacket.

Fantastic

Fantastic. A lightweight, puffy, Hutterite duck down filled hooded jacket. It's obvious Canada Goose really planned the design and worked out each detail in full. Things like a felt chin area. Zipper garages. Soft stretchy cuffs. Down filled waistband. A great hood seamlessly integrated with the jacket. Banded quilting to eliminate down movement. And just looking at how well made it is, you feel it's worth it especially since it's Fabrique Au Canada and filled with Canadian Hutterite fancy down (Hutterites = a religious group similar to say Amish). With its 2-layer windproof DWR shell, and sliding this puppy on is pure luxury. If you need a lightweight down jacket which is uber-warm and can still fit under your gore-tex shell if need be and packs in your backpack and doubles as a pillow, this is a great option.

For sizing, I'm 6' and 190-200 and an XL fits perfectly.

I'm 5'8" with an athletic 44 inch chest. I picked up a size Large, and it fit perfectly without looking bulky. I got the jacket because the Banf is too warm on milder winter days (I can't even drive with the Banf jacket on), and I am hoping this one can fit between.

Hi everybody,
I'm interested in this jacket but I'm a bit scared it might not be warm enough. I live in Holland and typical winters are around -5 C (20-25 F) to +10 C (45-50 F) and very wet. Will this jacket keep me warm in these situations? Another question I have is: will I be able to ski/snowboard with this jacket? Thanks in advance.

It will be warm enough for that temp range, the question is will it be water resistant enough, as it sounds like you will be using this as an outer layer. This type of jacket is best used as an insulating layer under a waterproof hard shell, where it will perform perfectly for what you describe. Wearing this as an outer layer in the rain runs the very real risk of getting your down wet, and wetness is downs one weakness, as it clumps and compresses and loses its insulating abilities.

I can't say enough of this beauitful jacket.

I was doubtful when it first arrived, that it was sooo thin, buy didn't let that cloud my judgement.

When it is time, I will never buy another winter jacket from anyplace else.

It is the best jacket I have ever had.
