I'd give it 4 stars, just because sleeves tend to be a bit short for us tall girls. Other than that, it's great. Warm, comfy, mmm....

The Kensington parka is size rather small. I have a small frame, 5'4 and 115 lbs and I tried on a size M which fit perfectly as they are slightly tailored and not at all bulky so you don't look like the Pillsbury Dow Boy or Girl.

purchased this coat after being not 100% sold on the montebello for warmth. the kensington certainly feels like it will be a very warm coat. I'm a size 6 and the small fits well. It is "relatively feminine" fit for what it is: a long down puffer. The urban details/styling are really nice and take away the "frump factor" The hood is nice and warm (fuzzy lining) and the pockets and handwarmer pockets are fleece lined which is cozy. Only thing that isn't too great is that the neck, when zipped all the way up, is quite TIGHT. Never had that happen before. Also, love the internal straps to wear on your back like a backpack when you are indoors.

How does Kensington compare to Women's Expedition Parka when it comes to warmth? Basically I am looking for the warmest possible. They look the same, except for the design.
Thanks!

Hi - The Expedition Parka is a bit warmer and has a higher fill power. The Expedition has 800 fill down, the Kensington has 625 fill down. I reaaally love the Expedition Parka because it's so so warm and comfy, but I should note that my other 625-fill down jacket also keeps me warm just fine at -40 degrees.
Hope this helps! :)

No, the fill-power in the expedition is 625.

This coat runs small in the shoulders. I have a 37" chest and broad shoulders and the medium was too narrow in the shoulders. It measured 15" across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. The rest of it is cut OK but the coat does have an overall pear shape too it. If you have an athletic build this is probably not the most flattering style of Canada Goose for you.

It depends on your chest size I think but I'm your dimensions and I fit a Large more comfortably than a medium (I tried it on while shopping for a coat tonight)

In terms of style, the Canada Goose Kensington Parka jacket has an urban look with a tight fit.
The hood and the core of the jacket is quite warm, however, I find that my arms are still cold. They need to put more padding on the arms. The hood
fits a little bit awkward with nothing to secure it in place. It would be nice to have some sort of velcro or button to hold the hood in its position.

I have this coat in a Black Small. I am 5'5" and weigh 120. It fits like a glove, but there is room to put sweaters underneath. It is feminine and stylish. It doesn't look like a typical "puffy" coat. I live in Michigan and I spend a lot of time in cold ice rinks as my nephew is a speedskater. It is warm; I don't know if it is as warm as I would like it to be, as I am ALWAYS cold. I have tried every North Face coat under the sun to keep myself warm in the rink, but none could do the job. I stepped it up a notch and bought this coat. It does a pretty good job.I like that it is longer, it hits me just above the knee. I don't like that it doesn't have deep pockets or an inside pocket to stash stuff when you don't want to carry a handbag. The fur on the hood is beautiful but could do without it being real. All in all I am happy with the coat and it has paid for itself in usage.

I saw your comment, andI noticed that you really like your jacket and I was just wondering if you were willing to trade. I recently just got a Canada Goose Trillium Parka for christmas. My parents bought me the wrong model and there are no Kensington models to be found. I have the original bill, tags, bad from authentic retailer. Everything. It is brand new, never warn. Please let me kow if you are willing to switch, I will pay for shipping and everything!
