seam over the knee

Got these in the mail and they had a seam over the knee. I also ordered the Castelli Tenero knicker and the fabric was so much softer. Overall I did not like the fabric and they seem to have a really funky smell. The fit was okay, but not for me. Cannot comment on performance.

    Campagnolo Knickers

Though it will be at least 5 months before I can wear these- it's 100F by 9 am, not your best knicker weather- I have yet to find anything made by Campi that I don't love. These knickers promise to be no exception. Great looking and the fit feels good too. I love their Tri-pro chamois, comfortable mile after mile without bulk. The fabric is fairly light- not fleece lined, but feels like it will be wind resistant and therefore warm. I will have to report back in the winter as to their thermal quality, be they mid-season, all-season, or cold-season.
So far, really happy with this purchase. Real Cyclist were fantastic, my first pair had a skip in the seam which meant there was a hole in the leg, the crew here took care of re-ordering a new pair and providing me with a shipping tag. Could not have been happier. I try to buy from this company as often as possible because of their excellent return policy and top notch customer service. Thanks!

      Follow up-
These knickers rock! The fabric is light weight, but these still keep me warm to 45F. Great compression and the TriPro chamois is very comfortable. I only have one complaint, the light grey fabric at leg opening creates a diagonal seam that lays across my knee cap- kinda bugs me but not enough to stop wearing them all the time. Great looking too.

I have a pair of winter knickers and thought these would fit similar but I was wrong. They tend to fit lower waist. There is no tie around the waist to help stay up. I noticed the thighs fit tight. Having said that, these are very flattering on. Just realize you may want to wear a longer jersey.
