Keep the snow off your feet.

The CAMP XLC Nanotech Antibott reduces annoying and potentially dangerous snowballing that occurs when you travel through the high mountains. Unlike other anti-balling plates made with regular plastic, the Camp Antibott uses Vibram rubber to shed snow and still provide excellent traction when you have to traverse rocky terrain.

    Easy Install

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These anti balling plates were easy to install. Only took about 5 Min. I have the Camp XLC Automatic Crampon that I use for ski mountaineering in the Wasatch. The XLC crampon did not come with anti balling plates so I used them without for 2 years without having any problems. For the first time this year the snow conditions where just right that the wet snow started to ball up. Boots got heavy and minor slipping. This is cheap and easy way to keep snow build up. I have only used these once since the season is coming to a close. They do add a little weight but its worth the safety.

I have an older (2006 model) pair of XLC-470s, and would like to pick up some antibot plates. CAMP's remarkably user-unfriendly website lists only this set for XLC-anything. An obscure retailer lists this Nanotech model as #18106, which I understand is what the 470 needs, however I can't get through to CAMP at all (no email address, they are not returning my phone calls) to confirm. Does anyone know if these will work for an older pair of XLC-470s?

I have the XLC 390 crampons. C.A.M.P. tells me I need model #18103 anti-balling plate for these. I see you have anti balling plates for the XLC Nanotech for $9.41. Can you check the model number to see if it is #18103. I think the Nanotech and XLC 390 are the same crampon except the tip of the points. Do you have the crampon bag #1385?
