The Camp Fingerless Gloves' durable leather material saves your hands from undue abuse on long aid pitches and sport climbing belays. No more getting back home with blackened, rope-worn hands now that you have these Camp gloves to save your skin. The Fingerless Gloves excel in technical applications because you can easily manipulate gear and tie knots with the tips of your fingers exposed.

Bottom Line: Stop trashing your hands, and get the Camp Fingerless Gloves for burly protection.

Full Fingers May Work Better...

By:
April 19, 2011

It is definitely harder to grip a small diameter rope like the Petzl Nomad or any other smaller diameter ropes in the 9.8 or lower range. A full finger glove may make it slightly easier to get a good hold on that rope and allow you to not have to clench the rope as hard. However these gloves protect your hands and still allow your fingers to be free to work your gear.

Camp fingerless gloves okay for repelling.

By: Backcountry.com Employee

Used these for a canyoneering trip. They fingers aren't long enough to protect your fingers while repelling. They are better than no gloves, but I came away with several rope burns. I'm buying full finger gloves for my next trip.

Thrashed hands no more

By: Backcountry.com Employee

My hands were getting thrashed from the ropes (it could just be me), so these gloves have been nice to have. The cut out fingers are good because I feel like I still have control.
