Bust out the CAMP USA Safety Pear Twist Lock Carabiner and sit back on those long belays with a little more peace of mind and a bit less weight on your rack. This closed-gate ‘biner locks you in with an easy-to-tweak twist lock—one-handed operation takes the shitdamnit out of final pitches and fatigued phalanges. The Safety Pear’s shape and 21mm gate opening plays nice with your ropes.

Does this biner require two actions to unlock it, such as twist and lift, or just one action (twist)? I looked for it on the camp website but couldn't find it.

I am not 100% on this one, but it looks like you twist it and then move the slider down, then you can open the gate.It's twist and lift my friend.

NOTE: it WILL fit through a GriGri BUT the spine is rectangular and doesnt make it which makes this less than ideal for use with the GriGri as it does not hang right on your harness.

This is pretty damn big. Too big for your pocket for sure.Try the Black Diamond Jive wire (key chain biner) or the camp nano wireThough it may look impressive to the ladies if you did have this in your pocket with your keys.

Yay for twist lock carabiners. It's just easy enough to unclip after the forearms are beat. It does take two motions (twist...and then pull back), but it's easy enough with one hand. It's about four inches from end-to-end, so it has some substance. carabiners like these are just flat sweet and make for a great back-up gift to a brother whose birthday you forgot. Every man of substance appreciates a good piece of functional, machined metal.
