I bought these as starter draws for climbing in Missouri and they work great so far. I have taken these out a few times and I like them, they have a loud clipping snap, they are really light and they are bright and easy to identify on the harness. the only down side is that the dog bone is a little wide for the biner, but that isnt a real issue for me yet and can be fixed by getting new dog bones. all in all good starter quick draws for a great price.

These are fantastic draws for the price easy to clip, cheap and despite not having a rubber keeper on the bottom biner the draw is tight enough around it that it doesn't spin. The only down side to these draws is they can be difficult to clean off overhanging routes due to their notched nose. However this is true of most all wire gate draws. All in all these are a great buy for the price you wont be disappointed.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are hands down the best draws for the price. They are light, easy to clip into, and dirt cheap. The stitching on the dogbone doesn't look to be the highest quality, and sometimes the bottom carabiner slips around, but overall these are great buys.

I climb with these almost every weekend. The past 2 weekends in a row the nylon on the top biner has gone over the gate and unclipped itself. I thought the first time it happened it was just a freak thing but I was wrong. The nylon does not fit well in the radius of the orange biner so it can easily move causing it to unclip or cross load. I was looking at decking about 30ft each time this happened. I have read that some people changed out the dogbone with Dyneema and that solved the problem because it's not as thick, but that's expensive.

Time to look for some new draws..

Did the rope unclip it self or did the whole quickdraw unclip itself from the bolt?

@Matthew
What happened was the dogbone slid around onto the top carabiner's gate. The rope then pulled the draw in direction that the gate opens and both the dogbone and the lower draw slid off the open gate together, so only the top carabiner remained on the bolt.

These were my first draws, and still had a few around. They are magical really! Easy clip, light, and tough. the colors are nice, and despite a lack in rubber stopper, the webbing holds the binder nice and tight.

They clip very well, way good spring action. Have used them for over two years now, and still lasting some pretty good use. I love the bright orange when i climb, and need to clip, it makes a difference!

also, if your a beginner, they are a sweet deal!
