Description

Big on performance and versatility with a climber-friendly price tag.

If your harness is starting to look a bit ratty at the tie-in points and you're also short on cash, the Camp USA Men's Flint Harness is the solution to your dilemma. The low-profile design and low weight allow the Flint to excel on hard sport routes and training sessions in the gym while the fully adjustable design and four gear loops allow you to wear the same harness for cold-weather alpine routes and multi-pitch trad adventures.

  • Pre-threaded buckles on the waist and legs improve safety and adjust for a custom fit
  • 6mm Eva foam padding in the legs and waist-belt keeps you comfy during long hang-dog sessions and epic belays
  • Drop-seat buckles allow you to take care of business without taking the harness off
  • Patented no-twist belay loop helps keep the belay device properly oriented
  • Four reinforced webbinggear loops provide quick access to equipment
  • Rear haul loop allows you to attach a tag line and keep it out of the way

I'm actually really happy with this harness. It's not the lightest, nor the most padded. It's adjustable, has four solid gear loops, plus a chalk-bag loop, plus a full strength haul loop, plus it's pretty cheap. There's a lot of features for the cost. What I like most is how the waist belt fits in the rear. Feels very flat and supportive when I move. The padding could be wider on the leg loops, but honestly the harness feels like a much higher end model when you get down to business, so my issues with it aren't big enough to look for something else. I might look at a Camp Air for lighter weight, but this is a solid harness for the money.
