Perfect for long-distance skimo races, all-day ski mountaineering, and longer tours, the X3 is constructed from extremely light and durable fabrics, giving it a fighting weight of just over two pounds, but it certainly doesn't sacrifice features to shave ounces. CAMP's biggest ski-pack innovation is their Xpress Wire ski carrying system, which uses an extendable loop and wire to let you attach and remove skis to your pack without having to take it off, saving you the considerable hassle of having to break your gear down every time you need to switch from skinning to bootpacking.

The X3 also has highly accessible mesh skin pockets to aid in quick transitions, and a specially-designed shovel and avalanche tool pocket to keep your essential gear organized and close at hand.
