Fit perfect.....for about 15 minutes

Thought I would give this a go, surely a rubber tip for ice tools can't be anything of consequence, right? It was a stretch putting it on, but nothing too out of the ordinary. I went to pick up the ice axe to put in the basement about 15-20 minutes after putting this one, and found that the piece connecting the adze cover to the pick just broke. I literally put it on, came back, and it was broke. Save yourself the few dollars and make one out of cardboard and tape with a rubber band in the middle, it will likely last longer than this.
