For those who refuse to be bound by campgrounds.

You go to the mountains to escape the crowds and enjoy a wilderness experience, and you're not going to get that within earshot of the road. So the next time you hit the trail, throw the Camp Chef Stryker Stove in your pack and know that a hot meal will be in tow where ever you roam. The Stryker is available in either an Isobutane or muli-fuel option for those who do most of their backpacking in cold and high climates. Both options sport the fuel efficient and wind-resistant heat ring technology, as well as a matchless ignition for easy cooking. A compact design makes the Stryker space efficient, and a folding canister stand secures the stove (and your dinner) while you cook.

    Love this!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got this stove for a backpacking trip to havasupi. It was big enough to make enough food for both me a my wife. It boiled water fast and it takes up very little space. I am very impressed. I have taken it on several trips sense then, and it still looks like the day I got it. It's a great stove!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Picked this up for a backpacking trip in the Uintas last weekend. It fired up every time with just one press of the ignitor button and heated up water super quick. It's really nice having the 1.3L pot give just a little extra volume and room to stir. And with that width, I'm able to pack everything (stove, base, and fuel canister) inside the pot nicely. Recommended!

Jetboil's Monopoly is at an End

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

While I own multiple Jetboil stoves and have always been impressed with how well they function, I went to give one as a gift and remembered that the Zip Cooking System doesn't come with the Piezo ignition, which I find to be very handy. After browsing and comparing multiple models of stoves I found that this stove was very similar to the Jetboil in every way except that it came with that Piezo ignition and a smaller price tag. I decided to give it a shot and the person who I gave this gift to just got back from a backpacking trip and told me that it worked just as well as any Jetboil system they had used before. Thus, this is fully worth giving a shot as it has the same features as Jetboils' stoves like the compact design, foldable canister stand, and ability to work with isobutane fuels, but with the added features and lower price, this stove has my vote 10 times out of 10.

    great little stove

this stove works great, i own the jetboil and this and they are very similar. these are a little bit cheaper price wise but do the exact same thing, heat up the water super quick!!
