Description

More simplicity, less waste.

You've only been camping for one weekend, but already your campsite looks like an industrial-waste disaster. Empty fuel bottles are piled around your cooking area like so much factory excess. The Camp Chef Bulk Tank Hose Adapter hooks your stove directly to a bulk tank so you can cook from one large, refillable source rather than burning through several small, disposable bottles.
  • Compatible with any stove that uses disposable fuel bottles

Can I use this adapter with one of those outdoor patio heaters? You know, the kind of mushroom-shaped ones...

Responded on

It'll depend on the exact fixtures, but I'm guessing you can. The tank end is certainly standard, and most propane-powered devices use the same fixture (the one this hose uses as well). Without seeing your heater, I can't promise anything 100%, but I'd say almost certainly yes.

This hose adapts from the large white tanks you use on a home grill to the fit gas appliances that would normally take a small (often green) screw on bottle, like a camp stove or lantern. Hope that helps. The fittings are pretty standard.

Nice hose

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Does exactly what you'd expect. It's nice to be able to use a large propane tank for car camping!

Will this work withoptimus crux stove?

Responded on

No, it won't. The Crux piggybacks on an isobutane canister that has a Lindal valve. This is for a larger tank of propane.
