CamelBak Stoaway Hydration Reservoir - 2008 BCS
Available Colors / Styles
When you’re tired of reaching into your pack for a drink and finding a frozen brick, slip CamelBak's Stoaway Hydration Reservoir into your backpack's hydration sleeve, and keep your water flowing on cold winter days. D-Ring attachments let you strap the reservoir to the outside of a pack, and the external port makes refilling easy. The OMEGA HydroTanium reservoir uses an antimicrobial compound to block bacteria, so you can stay hydrated with fresh, clean-tasting water.
Bottom Line: Add hydration to your winter packs with CamelBak's Stoaway Bladder.

I love the versatility of this piece of gear. Use it in the summer without the insulated pouch, or tuck it into an avalung pack in the winter.

Either throw it in your pack, clip it on the outside, this CamelBak is just right for whatever. Standalone, insulated, and plenty of clips to strap to or on, this bag goes where you want it. I usually clip mine out the outside of the pack so I can get to it, and there's just enough hose to reach my shoulder straps and clip on. The cover on the bite valve is nice for winter excursions up here in Alaska, preventing damage to the bite valve by ice. Seen here on a Mountain Hardwear Super Scrambler in Caines Head State Rec Area, Seward, Alaska.

After you take a drink in cold weather or even hot weather to prevent it from getting really hot in the tube. Just give it a puff of air to clear the hose and mouthpiece forcing the water back into the bladder.
Change me.
