I think this is a very nice looking, well made pack. However, at my size the water bottle size and size of the pack itself was cumbersome and heavy on my lower back. I think this would be wonderful for a larger sized person. I am 5'6 120 and all this did was hurt my back and hips. However, once again, if I was a larger person this is great.
this one is a keeper, holds the two bottles securely (when filled and empty) and has surprising amounts of storage. carried a camera (not a nikon d80, but a point and shoot) two gu's and a granola bar without problems, oh, and the car keys. velcro pocket (camera/phone slot) and two zippers worked great. haven't raced in it (yet), but was very happy with the tightening system. worked like a charm, little to zero bouncing and didn't need to be readjusted for 2.5 hours.

This pack is my first waist hydration pack, and I totally love it. Carrying 40+ oz of liquid is a major advantage in and of itself, and I really like that the holders fit standard 22oz water bottles (I'm not a fan of the CamelBack bottles that require me to sip water through a straw). I definitely recommend new users try tightening it a bit if they find it uncomfortable.
I enjoy having all the space and large amounts of water. I found it to bounce around quite a bit through when I run. I'm shorter female and couldn't get the fit just right to avoid bouncing. BUT I really enjoyed having this for day hikes while walking, no issues then!
I just started running in Feb. I was told that I should have water with me to run further, I started looking around town and couldn't find any kind of system to use, then I remembered seeing this particular product. It's was a better value than than the ones with a single bottle. It is great, I can carry my ipod in the front and carry energy gels in the back. It is everthing that is described. The one problem is, it doesn't work well with the kind of clothes that runners wear. When the bottles are full, there is to much movement. In order to limit this movement, I had to really tighten it up. But I still love it.
I did not like this pack initially: WAY too much bouncing, to the point of the bottles coming out. Then I realized it needed to be tightened. Once I tightened it, I loved it. The storage is great, the weight distribution is nice. Having this leaves my hands free for some Ultimate Direction® handheld bottles, or just free to be. The bottles come out and go in smoothly, no issues there. All in all, I like the system a lot. For suumertime hydrationI've used backpacks, handhelds and Fuelbelt® systems. This CamleBak® is up there with any of them, and has almost as much storage room as the pack systems I own. Very cool. Very comfortable. Though I should say, I haven't worn it N2S yet, so no comment on chafing.
The podium bottles are the way to go. You never have to worry about them leaking. The harness is very comfortable, you can hardly notice that you're carrying all that water back there.
