The CamelBak SnoBlast backpack pairs the CamelBak hydration system you love with the board-toting capability you want. The SnoBlast carries skis or a board, as well as extra clothe, and snacks—and it's expandable, so you can take as much as you need. If you're out to session a kicker or the terrain park for the day, why not take your tunes? The padded front pocket holds your CD or MP3 player. This pack comes with a 70oz bladder and insulated tube. For added protection against ice build-up, a zip harness further insulates the tube. The SnoBlast is perfect for hiking to freshies or lapping lift-served.

Bottom Line: Stay hydrated and have a blast in the snow with your CamelBak SnoBlast backpack.

The best pack for the job

By:

The CamelBak Snoblast pack could not have been a better choice. I used it for five days on the slopes of Salt Lake City and at Snowbasin. It is very comfortable, but of more importance, it is very practical. The bite valve and hose tuck into the shoulder harness and I never had a problem with frozen water in the sub-freezing, and often near-zero temps without using hand warmers in the provided pocket. The pack and rear pocket are perfect. I carried my liquid wax in the back pocket, and I was able to delayer and fill up the expandable main compartment. I also carried it on the plane, doubling its purpose. I highly recommend this pack.

Great for the city

By:

I made a trip to New York City for New Years with some friends. We did a lot of walking in cold and wet weather. I filled my CamelBak up with water to keep myself hydrated for those long walking distances in the city. When we went to Central Park to ice skate everyone had to get a locker rental for their belongings and all I had to do was use my CamelBak. It fit my shoes, gloves, beanie, and still had room for more. It made my trip a lot easier.

Functional and comfortable

By:

This pack has numerous adjustments, which is great for making it fit on your body comfortably. It's not terribly big. However I use it for resort skiing, so I'm therefore only carrying maybe a fleece and some snacks in it. It's nice how the main pouch is expandable, so if you don't have much in it, it's not bulky feeling. It carries more than enough water for me for one day, and it's great how the tube has an insulated cover on it, as well as zipping into the arm strap. Strapping skis onto it is rather clumsy however, as there's really only two straps that go below each binding, and the skis are pressed together. It would appear they could have put more thought into carrying skis, hence the 4.
