Racebak Hydration Jersey - Women's

Why wear a shirt and a hydration pack when you can have the Camelbak Women’s Racebak Hydration Jersey? Camelbak took a wicking sleeveless shirt, added a two-liter reservoir and a padded backpanel, and KAMBLAM—you get hours of hydration for running, biking, or adventure racing without the unneeded bulk of a pack. The quick-drying fabric hugs your skin for a performance compression fit and helps to stabilize the reservoir as you move. An insulating tube cover keeps the water cool and tasty, and the flatlock seams eliminate chafing.

Bottom Line: The hydration without the pack.

How much added bulk will it add to my back? Could I say, wear it under a baggier shirt and not look like the hunchback of notre dame?

The Men's version of this "Hydration Jersey" has a picture of the back side, I assume they are very similar. So that might help answer your question.

Really Wanted to Like this Product

By:

I really wanted to like this product. The concept is right on, however, putting it on was the difficult part. If you put the water in first, it is next to impossible to get it on without some help. If you put the jersey on first, you need someone to put the water in. Also, once you do finally get it on and full of water, the jersey is not adjustable. The weight of the water pulls the neck-line up, which is very uncomfortable. I did try several sizes but it was just not comfortable nor was it easy to use.

I really wanted to like this product as well, but had same problems. It takes 2 people to put this together. Also, wasn't pleased with the look once the bladder was full of water...think Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Write your question here...How comfortable is it? I would be using it for bike riding..about 70 miles/day on hilly and mountain climbs? Road biking.

For cycling this would be great because you wouldn't experience the jostling that accompanies running. I've seen this before on a runner and they were constantly tugging the front of their jersey back down from around their neck because the water reservoir on their back was starting to sag down and pull the front of the jersey up. It would also be nice on your ride if you put in alot of ice. Very invigorating and core cooling.
