During a hot, hard ride on the mountain, the last thing you want is a swig of hot-tub-warm water. The insulated CamelBak Podium ChillJacket Water Bottle keeps your water chilled, so your refreshment is actually refreshing while you’re on the trail. The Podium ChillJacket’s BPA-free construction also keeps the toxic, plastic taste at bay.
Flawless in my opinion. Insulates much better than typical bottles and is very rugged (can handle being crushed while falling on it during a trail run!). Would be nice if it had a finger loop on it so could clip to a pack, or make it easier to fast draw out of a waist pack but it's not a big deal. As a member of the Wasatach Speed Goat Mountain Racing Team, this was the only bottle I trusted at the Badwater Ultramarathon last summer; actually kept ice in it much longer than expected even at 120°F during the day!
Since I got this bottle I have been drinking more water. First of all because it is so easy to use, and the nozzle is so fun to drink out of. It does not spill or leak, and seems durable so far and I have carried it everywhere with me. It is easy to clean and keeps my water cold while I run in the sun.
Hey Audrey, not sure about a specific place to order only the caps, but I have had good luck contacting CamelBak directly and presenting your dilemma (my little monsters chew'd 'em up too) and they sent me replacement parts for free/discount...

Overall the bottle is very light weight and does keep liquid hot or cold longer than the conventional bottle. Would recommend to a friend based on price.
This bottle is one of the best Cycling purchases I've made (after my bike of course). It keeps your beverage of choice cold much longer than standard bottles. If i put ice in my water, there's usually still some left after an hour+ ride. The valve system works great too, no leaking if you hold it upside down, but just squeeze and it comes out eazy peazy! I own 3; everyone should own at least 1!
No. However, warm beverages are OK, provided theyre not hot enough to burn your mouth. Extra-hot or boiling water can distort the plastic in the bottle, but warm tea in your Podium® Chill Bottle or Podium® Ice is a nice treat for a cold ride.
Great water bottle that delivers on all levels. Keeps ice nearly all day, and doesn't leak or sweat a drop. Would recommend this bottle for any type of condition or activity.

This water bottle definitely keeps my drinks cold. I love the nozzle that prevents it from leaking while packed in my bag. I would recommend this to anyone!
The construction of the two bottles is similar. However, the insulating jacket material in the Ice Bottle is of a higher quality and thus more expensive. Found this on BicycleBuys.com:
Lightweight, high-tech Zeroloft® insulation keeps water cool 4 times longer than standard bike bottles and keeps the bottle light. (130g)
Mope this helps clear the issue on price/materials variance.
I love the bottle -- the insulation, valve, and positive shut-off device so it won't leak in my bag. Problem is, the drinking and valve mechanism has several parts which can trap debris and moisture and maybe develop mildew/mold; they should be disassembled occasionally for a good cleaning.
Fantastic water-bottle. Bought it based on a review on wired.com. Keeps the water cool, totally leak-proof and BPA-free. Buy it if you value the quality of water-drinking experience like I do :)
Camelbak got it right with these bottles. They are designed really well and you don't have to worry about them leaking at all. Water only comes out when you want it to come out. Pick up a set of these today!
