CamelBak Phone Pocket - 2007 BCS

This is great. All Camelbak's should come with one. Fits my razor perfect. No worries about it falling out. I want to get another for my digital camera. My only wish is that it came in all black.

Overall I wasn't too impressed with this thing. I thought it would be nice to have my phone or digital camera right there on the shoulder strap of my backpack, but when I put it on there, it stuck out so much that it got in the way and kind of looked ridiculous, to the point where I took it off until I can find a less intrusive place to put it. Also, I have a normal sized flip-open phone (Samsung A717), but the case seems to be built for a longer phone, so I'll have to put another square of velcro on it in order to hold my phone securely. It does have a decent amount of padding though, so I wouldn't worry about the phone/camera getting bumped or anything.

Although it's advertised for phones, I use it to keep a GPS or digital camera at the ready on my pack. Although not as protective as the bigger cases sold for such purposes, it is lighter. Just be sure to girth hitch your electronic device's lanyard to your pack in case the pocket does come loose.
